Meet our Periodontists
Dr. Leah Kells
- Dr. Leah Kells has been practicing in Winnipeg as a periodontist for over 20 years. She is a member of the Manitoba society of periodontists and the Canadian Academy of periodontology. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2001 and completed her Masters of Dentistry in Periodontics from the University of Manitoba in 2004. In addition to full time practice, she is clinical instructor at the college of dentistry.
Dr. Paul Klassen
- Dr. Paul Klassen is a Certified Specialist in Periodontics. He holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Winnipeg from 2014 and a Master’s in Science from University College London, England in paleoanthropology. He qualified from King’s College London with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2020 and completed a Master of Dentistry in Periodontics from the University of Manitoba in 2025. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists Canada in Periodontics.
Treatments
We specialize in the diagnosis treatment of periodontitis (gum disease), gum recession, and placement of implants to replace teeth.
